More than fifty Marriott resorts and golf clubs around the world offer Free lessons and free rounds of golf in a "Kids Golf-4-Free" program for ages 15 and younger (http://www.marriottgolf.com). A few of the resorts participating:

New Junior Programs
Grand Traverse Resort has established new junior greens fees (50% of full rate for ages 17 and under) and is stocked with kid-sized golf clubs (http://www.theboulders.com). Junior tees have been added to all three courses, making each nine about 1,000 yards long, compared to between 2,950-3,365 yards per nine for adults.
Family Package
For a family of up to 6 people, the "Family Fairways Golf" program at historic Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina includes rental clubs, a clinic and a round of golf for all. The younger set can try out special kids' clubs at their own practice area. Pinehurst is the site of the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship (http://www.uskidsgolf.com).
